At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families.
It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital’s services, offering them the best experience possible.
It is only through the kindness, generosity and hard work of our supporters raising these vital funds for our charity that we are able to do more and more every year to take us closer to achieving our vision to provide the best possible facilities and environment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, for our exceptional patients and young people.
ABOUT
Shivam Nathwani is 23 years old, and suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy and a tracheostomy but this hasn’t stopped him living an above average lifestyle.
He kicked off his YouTube channel just before lockdown started with an amazing start, gaining more than 1000 views on his first video. But then COVID-19 hit the streets and things slowed down. He had to adapt to making videos in his bedroom. Numbers dropped but that was fine. He decided to put his resources into making a Big Bang when the lockdown ended and the time was right. That time is now. Nationally recognised with features from well-known YouTube stars, to appearing on BBC News.
